The Giving Tree 2005
Children from Norwood Primary School took part
in the ‘Giving Tree’ appeal, each bringing presents to put under the
Christmas Tree.
Presents were then taken to Southampton and
Winchester hospital wards and given to the young patients by some of the
school children.
Hit the Catwalk
Sophie’s Appeal hosted its first fashion show
at Eastleigh Baptist Church.
Local children and adults strutted their stuff
raising and an enjoyable evening was had by all.
Sophie’s Stars
A group of over 25 ladies ran as Sophie’s Stars
in memory of Sophie in the first Race for Life without her in 2005.
A challenging but enjoyable run or ‘stroll in
the park’ raised much needed funds for Cancer Research UK.
A Holiday of a Lifetime
The Trust has donated £5,000 to sponsor a
terminally ill child and their family to go on a dream holiday.
Holidays are provided through Beyond the Moon.
The organisation said, ‘We really are very grateful for your
donation. The hard work that you do is much needed to help many sick
children and their families’.
